Penny Robertson is Founder of the Asia Pacific Down Syndrome Association, co-founder of Down Syndrome International, and a regular International keynote speaker. In 1991, Penny was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia for her services to the education of people with intellectual disabilities and in 2014 was nominated as Australian of the year.

Shona Robertson is an artist and published author and spends her time volunteering with her local Federal MP’s office and working at historic Kirra Hill where she is an administrative assistant. Shona is proud of her achievements to date and considers a house, a dog, a paying job, and a fiance the right of any young woman her age.

Catia is the founder of Starting With Julius, a non profit organisation committed to the equal representation of people with disabilities in advertising, media and education and a co- founder of All Means All – The Australian Alliance for Inclusive Education and the Global Alliance for Disability in Media and Entertainment. She also sits on the boards of Down Syndrome Australia and the Attitude Foundation. Catia is the winner of the 2018 Human Rights Award and the AFR 100 Women of Influence Award for Diversity and Inclusion.

Co-Founders of “Thrive Tribe & Co”, mums Sandy and Steph connected on the basis that no parent should have to embark on this journey alone and that a parent health needs to be a priority.

Sandy is a proud Mum to two beautiful kids, Imogen and Cooper. Imogen is on the autism spectrum and has ADHD and anxiety. Sandy herself was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis in recent years. Sandy's life is dedicated to helping people live their best and healthiest lives. She embodies this notion every single day through her health and business coaching which is completely centred about being your best self and living your life by design.

Stephanie is a doting Mummy to two little girls, Imogen and Charlotte. Charlotte falls onto the autism spectrum and also has sensory processing issues which can affect her processing of the world around her. Stephanie is just embarking on this journey but is already so passionate about educating women especially on the importance of a balanced and healthy body and mind.

Pieta brings a unique perspective with her experience as a mother of a young person with disability, family advocate, NDIS Coordinator of Support and her consulting work with communities and providers through the NDIS transition. Her focus is on building skills and confidence to make the most of the opportunities offered by the individualized funding models now in place through the NDIS. She sees this as important for all stakeholders in our sector and essential to the success of the NDIS moving forward.

Hannah Edwards is an occupational therapist who has worked in paediatrics for almost 20 years. Hannah has spoken at two Down syndrome NSW Education conferences and supported the development of a Down syndrome group at Camp Jabiru. Hannah is the proud mother of two beautiful children, Flynn and Maiya. Flynn was born in 2007 and diagnosed with Down syndrome shortly after.

Helen Goodwin is a mum, naturopath and disability worker who lives in Melbourne with her vibrant and spirited eight year old son Ollie who has Down syndrome. Helen works in the disability sector running programmes for young adults with intellectual disabilities, many of whom have Down syndrome, she also writes for the Three 21 Wellness Foundation website, a resource she created for parents looking for information regarding natural remedies and therapies for their children with Down syndrome, and supports parents in the community with nutrition and cookery inspiration.

Jacqui is an experienced speech pathologist and mum to 3 beautiful girls, including her daughter Ellen who has Down syndrome.

Joelle is the original founder of the online space ‘T21 Mum Australia Network’. She currently runs ‘321 Pregnancy Care’ online, supporting Mums with a prenatal diagnosis for their unborn baby. Over the years Joelle has supported many mums in their prenatal journey, both in Australia and overseas, via social media. Joelle has 3 children, her youngest child Josee has Down syndrome. She is currently the Head of Inclusive Learning at St James Lutheran College in Hervey Bay and advocates on a national level for inclusion of students with disabilities in mainstream education.
